Charming Villa Marcialla is a private villa of the fifteenth century in the centre of the small village Marcialla in the middle of the Chianti hills, only 30 minutes car from Florence, Siena and San Gimignano.
There are very big halls suitable for any kind of events, a spacious typical kitchen with a functioning big fireplace, a stone paved courtyard, a lovely garden in perfect Italian style and a romantic stone pool (6 x 3,70m) with two whirlpool spots. Guests are welcome to use the historical wine cellars in the basement where they can also taste the wines.
A perfect combination between living a typical tuscan villa and a right dimension to feel comfortable, cosy and at home.
The villa provides 4 big double bedrooms and 2 suites, each with a private ensuite bathroom, and old typical forniture.
We serve breakfast either directly to your room or, in summer, in the shady Italian garden. You have private parking. There is free Wifi in the area outside the buildings, in the suites and in some of the apartments.
We organize tours to our historical wine cellars and olive mills where you can taste our fine wines, extra virgin olive oil and grappa.
Upon request we can organize tours for visiting castles, tours around the Chianti wine region and cooking classes. It will give us immense pleasure to advise you where to buy traditional tasty local food produced in this area (meats, cheese, salami and cold cuts).
