The Giannozzi Farms lie in Marcialla, a medieval village in the Elsa valley, where in 1200 the Pogna Castle became the rebel stronghold of the Alberti Courts.  One of the Castle’s watchtowers is still to be found upon the grounds of the Farms.

Lying as it does along the road between Florence and Siena, the area around Marcialla is ideal for visiting these two cities as well as the nearby medieval towns of San Gimignano and Monteriggioni.  One can experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Chianti and the Val d’Elsa areas, rich in history and art.  The area is, of course, famous for its delicious Tuscan cuisine and fine wines.

Upon undulating slopes upon the hills around the Elsa Valley are rows and rows of grapevines alternating with olive trees, creating a geometric and harmonious landscape.  These plants  produce the typical antique Tuscan flavour found in time-worn tasty olive oil and palatable Tuscan wines.

It is from this very land that, thanks to the beauty and abundance of its fruit, a brand has been created that is recognized and sought after the world over.  Its very own landscape was created by farms like ‘Fattorie Giannozzi’ which has been working upon and respecting the Tuscan soil for eleven generations.
